Our institute organizes various programs from time to time regarding environment and de-addiction awareness. From the point of view of environment, our institute has been running save environment awareness campaign since last many years. Our institute is located in Chitalwana tehsil of Jalore district of western Rajasthan, there was a huge reduction in the number of trees due to desert land and lack of water, but from last few years Narmada canal which is only 1 kilometer away from us from the water of this canal. Our students along with organizations working on environmental protection and individuals associated with non- governmental organizations did a lot of tree plantation. Our honourable former vice- chancellor also praised this program and he also participated in the tree plantation program. During this campaign about one thousand trees were planted in our institute. Former Forest and Environment Minister Shri Sukhram Vishnoi also participated in this program. Our institute organizes a huge tree plantation program every year on 15th August. About 400 plants of different species are present in our institute and these trees are irrigated by drip irrigation keeping in mind the water conservation. Our institute is fully empowered regarding drug de-addiction awareness. In this awareness campaign, programs are run by our institute from time to time. In which all the students and professors of the college inspire the students to stay away from drugs. And how intoxication destroys the body, various such reasons are discussed. All the students and students enthusiastically participate in this program. Every year two to three programs are organized by Sanjeevani Nasha Mukti Mandali in our institute to maintain the continuity of awareness about this program. In these programs, all the students present in the program are administered a pledge by the director of our institute Dr. Bhagirath Bishnoi to stay away from drugs and take a pledge to keep themselves and their families away from alcohol.
